    1. Thanks for asking :) The project is far from dead, although it's been very much on the back burner for several months, due to mostly external factors, but also some trouble I ran into with the actual game engine. I hope to get some serious work done in the fall, and will try to post an update to the front page in the meantime.

  3. I have a problem, I can't run the game because it says the app can't be executed in my equipment (Windows 10) and that to search a version for my equipment I should contact the software advertiser.

    1. Hi, I can't tell exactly what's wrong from that error message, and if the problem hits you in particular, or everyone with Windows 10. You might get it working by downloading the source code and installing the dependencies (Python 2.7 from https://www.python.org/downloads/release/python-2718/ with Pygame from https://www.pygame.org/download.shtml). Sorry, I know those are some hoops to jump through. I'm updating the toolchain for the next release of LoSt, which will certainly be tested on Windows 10 and which is hopefully not too far away ;)

  4. Played it and shot a kid on accident. I'm really looking forward to the future of this game.

  5. Hello, strange stranger(s), It's very motivational to see there's still some interest! Despite lack of activity on this blog. I promise to put up a blog post before the turn of the year, letting y'all know about the status of the project. Briefly, it's still in development, and I'm updating the code to use newer tool chains (upgrading from Python 2 to Python 3, etc). Hopefully that will resolve issues with running under Windows 10, and more. Cheers.

    1. Hi, and thanks for your interest! LoSt is a labor of love, so the pace of development goes very much in bursts depending on how much time and motivation I have in different periods. The last few years were extremely slow, but I'm not giving up on the project. I've kept it in my life for very long, so I there will be more releases, and hopefully one point where the game at least feels "whole", even if only more or less complete. In short: I can't promise anything, but yes, it's still in development.
